Rome – Basilica Santa Cecilia

On a Sunday in January, I went to visit the Basilica of Santa Cecilia with a group of photography enthusiasts; they are from the Facebook group called “Uscite Fotografiche a Roma (UFR)”.

It was a cold day, but the location for the event was interesting and it seemed a good time to participate.

I chose black and white for the exterior scenes to make the best of this, cold and gray, winter day.

Tunis – Medina (the old City)

Medina (the old city) is the term usually used to refer to that part of town where the market is. In Tunis, the area is very impressive and full of small shops with local products, such as textiles, carpets, spices and even jewelry. The area is large and mostly indoors.

Tunis – House Decorations

The buildings in the historic part of Tunis city have very complex decorations. I was lucky to be guided by a woman that is part of the community and very knowledgeable about the history of Tunis. She showed me some very special places. The people in Tunis are very friendly and hospitable.
